Welcome to WCLX 13!

Welcome to the 13th annual Windy City Lindy Exchange! It's hard to believe that it's been 13 years since a group of dancers from Chicago visited San Francisco and started the phenomenon which is now known as the lindy exchange!! What began as a way to experience the dance scene and culture of a different city has evolved into large events where people from all over the country and even other parts of the world will converge on one city for a weekend to dance.

It takes a lot of effort to put up an exchange. Please send us an email at volunteering if you want to volunteer. Volunteers will be compensated.

Coming in early or staying in Late?

Join Carl and Karrie every Wednesday for "Swing Night at Esteban's". We will start off each week with a basic/intermediate swing dance lesson at 7:30pm, then a beginner lesson at 8:00, followed by DANCING for ALL! Music will be provided by DJ Carl Linder. Esteban is located at 1550 N. State Route 59, Naperville, IL.

Please join The Flat Cats at Alhambra Palace located at 1240 W.Randolph, Chicago on Wednesday, Sept. 28 8pm - Midnight. Cover is $10.
